Designer Shabd Simon-Alexander creates limited edition collections based on simple shapes with attention to fabric combinations and compositions. Shabd has brought tie-dye to the forefront of fashion, earning the reputation as one of this generation’s leading dye-artists. Her breakthrough collection included a limited edition line of hand dyed accent pieces, inspired by NASA Hubble telescope photos of worlds being born and stars dying. She is based in Brooklyn.
