Fruit Frame is part of a collection of experiments (titled 'Grassworks') by designer Jair Straschnow into multi-purpose objects that fold, collapse and flat pack. Made from bamboo laminate sheets, and with a simple interlocking system this product creates a proper table feature. It can be used on a flat surface to 'frame' almost anything, from some gorgeous seasonal apples, to the seemingly ordinary objects of everyday life.
